Produced as part of 'Hunter Gatherer,' an exhibition of work made by artists in response to Artemis, an artefact and art loan repository and service for Education Leeds. The starting point for this work was the discovery of a 'Primitive Physic and Receipt' book. Text was selected from this book and arranged with other Artemis objects in an attempt to evidence shifting understandings of the body and subjectivity and changing ways of categorising/organising knowledge. |
