The starting point for this work was the discovery of a 'Primitive Physic and Receipt' book in the Artemis loan collection (Artemis was a repository of museum and teaching objects run by Education Leeds). Text was selected from the book and displayed alongside an arrangement of handling objects from the collection. The chosen items alluded to historically shifting understandings of the body and self-identity, as well as changing ways of categorising or organising knowledge.

Produced as part of 'Hunter Gatherer,' an exhibition of work made by artists in response to Artemis at Project Space Leeds.
